The aim of this package is to make available a computational tool to deal with numerical semigroups.
The features of this package may be found in the manual, either in the html or in the pdf format.
These include:

• defining numerical semigroups;
• computing several properties of numerical semigroups, namely: multiplicity, Frobenius number, (minimal) system of generators, Apery set, gaps, fundamental gaps, etc.;
• perform several operations on numerical semigroups, namely: intersection, quotient by an integer, decompose into irreducible semigroups, add a special gap, etc.

If the current version of numericalsgps is not yet one the GAP packages you have installed, you may wish to intall it by following the instructions available in the README file.
