The nominations for each of these three prizes awarded by the EMS must reach the chair of the Prize Committee not later than December 31, 2023. The prizes will be presented at the Ninth European Congress of Mathematics in Seville, July 15–19, 2024, by the President of the European Mathematical Society.
It is with deep sorrow that the Executive Board of the Centro Internacional de Matemática informs that its President, Professor Isabel Narra de Figueiredo, passed away on September 7, 2023, after a prolonged illness.
Nominations can be made by anyone, but must reach the chair of the Prize Committee not later than November 1, 2023.
Any European mathematician who has their 35th birthday on or after the 1st of January 2024 and who has not previously received an EMS Prize is eligible.
The prizes will be presented at the Ninth European Congress of Mathematics in Seville, July 15–19, 2024, by the President of the European Mathematical Society.
To promote mathematics across the board, across geographic boundaries, and across discipline boundaries, the EMS calls for proposals for activities that are large-scale, inclusive and cross-institutional. The proposed activities should complement or extend existing infrastructure for mathematical interaction, promotion and advancement.

This programme is designed for the purpose of giving refuge to researchers in the mathematical sciences who have to leave their country of residence. The aim is not only to offer participants a safe home but also to enable them to continue their work and start new scientific collaborations.
The Isaac Newton Institute (INI) is up to 31st July 2023 accepting proposals for six-month research programmes to take place in Cambridge during 2025 - 2026.
One of the events already took place last February: the LxDS Workshop on New trends in Lyapunov exponents.
The other event will take place next July: the Portugal-Italy Conference on Nonlinear Differential Equations and Applications (PICNDEA22).
