"Once and for all there is a great deal I do not want to know - Wisdom sets bounds even to knowledge"
(F. Nietzsche - Twilight of the idols)
In mathematical research I was brought up as a topologist. I also have a long lasting interest in foundational and philosophical issues.
My main interests are:
Geometric Topology - specially in low-dimensions and contractible spaces.
Foundations - Topos theory and Intuitionism.
Philosophy of Science/Mathematics.

Mathematical papers - This section contains research or expository papers.
Lecture Notes - Notes, sets of exercises and other material from my courses.
Potpourri - That's what it is...
Bertus - A repository of texts with philosophical bearings of some kind - essays, short comments and questions, favorite quotes and aphorisms... occasional outbursts and wild quimeras... ( the title is a tribute to L.E.J.Brower)
