This one-day meeting intends to be a celebration of Sofia Castro's work and contribution to the scientific community. To this purpose, some of Sofia's collaborators and also former PhD and post-doc students will give talks, starting on the mathematics that connected them to Sofia and ending where it lead them to today.
The opening and closing sessions will provide a more personal view of Sofia's contribution to the development of mathematics in general, and dynamical systems in particular, at the University of Porto.
