Brief description of the research activities:
In joint work with Rui Duarte, I start studying means to construct the inverse of the Pak-Stanley bijection, between regions of the Shi arrangement and parking functions. We were able to solve this problem, and the solution will be published in the European Journa of Combinatorics.
We also found new identities related to the convolution of central binomial coefficients, with corresponding generating functions that we explicitely characterize, thus subsuming some results that go back to Catalan. This work was published in the Journal of Integer Sequences.
