Brief description of the research activities:
I finished the paper Bifurcation under parameter change of Riemann solutions for nonstrictly hyperbolic systems and I submitted it. The referee asked for numerical simulations in order to corroborate the theoretical bifurcation presented in the paper. I perform such delicate simulations and the paper was accepted.
I start a new research on a class of conservation laws that models chemical reactions and phase change in porous media flow. These problems have nilpotent flux derivatives which lead to generalized eigenvalue analysis.
