Brief description of the research activities:
Study of the complexity of semigroup actions of Ruelle-expanding maps, parameterized by random walks on the free semigroup, and of the impact of the chosen walk on the ergodic properties of the action. Analysis of the dynamics at the global attractor within a one-parameter unfolding of a symmetric three-dimensional vector field exhibiting a contracting Bykov network.

Supervisor of Alberto Pacheco under the Gulbenkian Foundation Program New Talents in Mathematics. Co-author, with Manuel Arala Chaves, of three articles published at Atractor Association's regular column at Gazeta de Matemática.
