Brief description of the research activities:
Close collaboration with Instituto de Saúde pública, namely with professor Raquel Duarte, aimed at developing statistical analysis and application of suitable models to several ongoing projects.
Collaboration with professor Runze Li on variable selection for semiparametric models.
Collaboration with Faculdade de Farmácia (UP) on markers of infectiousness in canine leishmaniases, jointly with professor Margarida Brito.
