Sofia Castro's Annual Report

Sofia Castro's Annual Report

Year:

2016

Brief description of the research activities:

- study of the stability of cycles and the existence of switching in heteroclinic networks
- study of the relationship between replicator dynamics and best-response dynamics in game theory, with applications to learning outcomes
- study of industry location (i) for a finite, but arbitrary, number of regions, and (ii) for the case of two regions when workers have different preferences for each region
- study of the symmetries of projected patterns, including bifurcations
- construction of prototypes of non-simple heteroclinic networks and study of their stability, with applications to Economics
