Study of the dynamics of discrete dynamical systems (DDS) arising from mutation-periodic quivers of period higher than one. The case of the quivers associated to the complex cones over the Hirzebruch 0 and del Pezzo 3 surfaces: approach to the dynamics by reducing to symplectic maps.
