Christian Edgar Lomp's Annual Report

Christian Edgar Lomp's Annual Report

Year:

2013

Brief description of the research activities:

In 2013 I was working on several topics in algebra. Together with Edmund Puczylowski  from the University of Warsaw I was working on a problem in module theory to characterise those rings such that the dimension formula holds for Goldie's uniform rank for all modules. With Jawad Abuhlail from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals I generalized many properties of classical Zariski-topology  to modular lattices in order to apply these to modules and comodules over rings and coalgebras. Furthermore I was working on other aspects regarding Hopf algebras and coalgebras while spending some time at the University of Düsseldorf.
