Lars David Kadison's Annual Report
Year:
2014
Brief description of the research activities:
Investigated depth of corings, entwining structures, subgroup depth and twisted coefficients, and quotient modules of left coideal subalgebras of Hopf algebras. I published two articles this year: 1. Hopf subalgebras and tensor products of generalized permutation modules, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 218, 2014, 367--380. 2. (with A. Hernandez and M. Szamotulski) Algebraic quotient modules and subgroup depth, Abh. Math. Semin. Univ. Hamburg 84, 2014, 267-283. My Ph.D. student Christopher Young received his Ph.D. on 19 September 2014 with a thesis entitled Hopf algebra depths in smash products.
