The Hotel is close to the conference venue (5 minutes walk).

TRANSPORT FROM THE AIRPORT TO OPORTO:
There are good connections from the airport to Oporto.
By metro:
There is a metro connection from the airport to the city centre. The closest stop to the conference venue (and hotels) is "Casa da Música", (about 15 minutes walk). To use the metro system you have to buy a card called "Andante" in which you charge your tickets. To go from the Airport to "Casa da Música" you have to charge your andante with a Z4 trip which coasts 1.40 Euros. More information about the metro can be found in the metro web page.
By taxi:
Price around 15 Euros. A small tip of around 5 percent is appreciated but not essential.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN:
See train schedules and prices on the web page of CP. The train stops at the Campanhã railway station.
From there you have local buses (the local company is called STCP) that pass near in the Hotel. You can catch the line 34 (see its route), and exit at the end of the line, or the line 35 (see its route) and exit at "Junta Massarelos". The price of the ticket is 1.65 euros if prepaid (2 journeys ticket) and 1,35 euro if bought on the bus (single journey ticket). Another alternative is to use a taxi. From the train station to the hotel the price should be 10-15 euros.
